West Seattle Admiral Neighborhood Addition
In this two-story addition, the family didn't simply get more space, the very feel of their home was revolutionized. The main living area was transformed into an exceptionally open and bright space for entertaining and family gatherings. Significant structural work allowed for the family room to expand, a dining room to be created, and the basement den to grow into a full-fledged Seahawk haven. The master suite's wrap around deck design with glass-panel railing maximizes a nearly panoramic view of the downtown Seattle skyline. Both the master suite's wrap around deck and the main floor deck also feature elevated pavers. Marvin Integrity aluminum-clad windows and doors take further advantage of the views from both decks. A Mitsubishi ductless mini split heating system was added to the home’s existing boiler heating system. This highly energy efficient system features a multi-stage filtration design that significantly improves indoor air quality.
