Kari Pelaez
A design/build industry veteran who joined Pathway in April 2021 after spending several years at an architecture firm and a decade at a nonprofit, Kari enjoys connecting people—helping the Pathway team build relationships with each other and with our clients.
Kari also loves learning new things about the environment and sharing her knowledge, making her a perfect fit for our eco-conscious firm. In her nonprofit role, she worked as Volunteer Coordinator and Environmental Educator, creating the curriculum, leading field trips, and organizing and teaching nature camps.
Kari and her husband, Dan, live in Kenmore; they have a blended family with four grown children. They also have two cats “who are infinitely more difficult than any child ever was,” she says. A Seattle native and a first-generation North American (she calls herself “Pacific Northwest meets South America”), she enjoys reading, walking on the Burke-Gilman Trail, and spending time with friends and family.
