Lars Blazina
Lars Blazina
Lars was part of a remodeling crew long before he became an industry professional—he grew up in Poulsbo helping his parents with home-improvement projects ranging from landscaping to installing hardwood floors. After earning a degree in materials science and engineering at the University of Washington, he worked for AmeriCorps leading a Northwest Youth Corps crew and as a glass formulator for a stained-glass company prior to joining Pathway about six years ago.
A Washington native, Lars loves board games, riddles, Seattle sports teams, skiing, camping, fishing, running, craft beer, and all things Star Wars. (He knows how to juggle, unicycle, and Double Dutch jump rope, too.) He’s also committed to lifelong learning: In addition to getting his certification as an estimator through the Certified Training Institute, he is into word etymology, economics, and history.
Lars lives in West Seattle with Haley, his partner of more than eight years, and their tuxedo cat named Brew.
